The Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or experienced Residential / Commercial Conveyancer.
* Ideally newly qualified / PQE 1 - 3.
* Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently.
* Proficiency in conveyancing and legal management software is an advantage.
* Client-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
The Responsibilities
As a Residential / Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor, you will:
* Conduct detailed title investigations for commercial and residential properties.
* Prepare and review contracts, leases, deeds, and agreements for both commercial and residential transactions.
* Perform due diligence on properties, identifying potential risks and advising clients on solutions.
* Provide expert legal advice, guiding clients through property transactions.
* Oversee the full transaction process, ensuring timely and compliant completion.
* Stay updated on property law developments and apply insights to support your cases.
* Work closely with estate agents, surveyors, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
* Submit and manage Land Registry applications for property registrations.
* Address and resolve disputes related to property matters through negotiation or legal action.
* Ensure full adherence to laws, regulations, and professional standards.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed and satisfied.
* Assess potential legal risks in transactions and advise clients on mitigation strategies.
* Manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential conveyancing matters effectively.
