About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the Childrens Safeguarding Partnership Manager on a temporary basis for 12 months maternity cover. The role is part time at 21.75 hours per week.
The Children’s Safeguarding Partnership Manager sits within the Trafford Strategic Safeguarding Partnership (TSSP) and reports to the Director of Safeguarding and Practice Improvement within Trafford Council who host the role.
In the 12 months of temporary cover, the post holder will have a lead role in embedding the new safeguarding arrangements as outlined in Working Together 2023, working alongside the Chair of the Delegated Safeguarding Partnership. The Partnership will be developing the refreshed strategic safeguarding priorities and the annual delivery plan, and collaborating with the North West Research in Practice Programme for the implementation of WT2023.
The Children’s Safeguarding Partnership Manager will lead and support a dedicated team, including a quality assurance officer, learning and development officer, and business support officer, ensuring that the annual delivery plan is effective and that we can evidence impact for our children, young people, and families.
