You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. As Assistant To Directors of Programmes, the successful candidate will play an integral role in To provide administrative support to the Director and Associate Director( further called Directors) of Programme (DoP) as delegated, through management of both DoP diary, communications, travel and accommodations booking, as well as assisting with scheduling the DoP’S meetings and minute-taking, in order to ensure the DoP’s workload and activities are managed effectively, thus contributing on a wider scale to the success and smooth operational running of organisation. Follow up with members of the Programmes department and other HA departments to ensure progress of tasks delegated by the directors Report back to directors about progress re gularly What we’re looking for in our Assistant to Directors of Programmes : Degree-educated (such as Social Sciences, or International Development) Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) educated Previous administration experience for at least 1 year Understanding and passion for the International Development sector Computer literate, proficient in MS Office Suite Must be fluent in English and Arabic language.
