Join us to shape the future of integrated working across Suffolk health and care!
Suffolk is a leader in integrated working, supported by strong partnerships across health and social care. To strengthen health and care integration for the future, partners recently reviewed use of the Better Care Fund (BCF) in Suffolk and agreed recommendations to improve how the BCF can be used to drive integration forward.
As the Suffolk Better Care Fund Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in this agenda, taking the lead in ensuring those recommendations are delivered and establishing a strong foundation to support the health and care system’s future ambitions.
You’ll work with senior leaders across the health and care system to identify new opportunities for joint working as well as establishing strong governance and performance management for the BCF and the schemes it funds. You’ll also be responsible for developing and managing Suffolk’s BCF plan for 2025/26.
Here’s what you can expect
- a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and creativity
- empowerment to bring forward your ideas and shape the future of our services
- collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that have a real and positive impact for Suffolk residents
- professional growth and development opportunities to advance your career.
We're seeking an experienced individual who has knowledge and expertise of the Better Care Fund itself and health and social care integration more widely. You’ll bring a systems thinking approach to allow you to work effectively across organisations in Suffolk, alongside strong skills in programme and performance management and an understanding of health and social care finance – and the ability to build relationships and generate confidence and trust with a broad range of stakeholders.
You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (docx). If you believe you can succeed in this role, apply. Even if you don't meet all requirements, still apply. We would appreciate the opportunity to consider your application.
