We're currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our team at our Grantham depot. This position is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful individual will complete daily accounting tasks and assist the Finance Business Partner with the monthly management accounts for WCF Chandlers & North East in accordance with the accounting timetables.
Main duties will include:
* Daily stock reconciliation
* Manage purchase ledger tasks such as reconciliation of non-stock and stock invoices
* Manage sales ledger tasks such as daily invoicing and account queries
* Daily banking of both the Sales and Purchase Ledger
* Process cheques
* Daily bank reconciliations
* Daily cashflow reporting
* Produce weekly BACS runs
* Manage direct debit payments
* Maintain up to date and accurate Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
* Assist/Cover Credit Control
* General administration tasks
About you:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Able to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines, demonstrating a “can do” attitude
* Able to use initiative and work unsupervised
* A team player, working alongside others with integrity, positivity and respect
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Ability to adapt to busy and varied workload, working with energy and pace to get the job done
* You will have good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office core elements (Excel, Outlook)
