You will be able to build on your previous knowledge and experience taking on more responsibility while rotating through critical care, medical admissions, different medical specialities, general surgery and adult TPN ward rounds You will be predominantly ward based in the clinical rotations but will also be trained and gain experience in specialist areas including paediatrics / NNU, Homecare and Biologics screening, Haematology, Antimicrobials and the OPAT service. This post provides a great opportunity to gain experience in various rotations and further develop their skills to progress your career. Main duties of the job You will provide clinical services to our Acute Admissions Unit at weekends which will be worked as part of your contracted hours on a rotational basis. Experience with Electronic Prescribing is desirable as the Trust uses the Cerner E-Prescribing system on the wards. The opportunity to develop education and training skills exists as you will participate in the clinical training and supervision of trainee pharmacists and support less experienced pharmacists. You are required to be fully registered with the GPhC and have post-registration NHS hospital experience working as a clinical pharmacist on wards. Knowledge of JAC would be an advantage. You should be due to complete your diploma within the next 12- 18 months.
