Job summary The Maternity department is looking for cheerful and motivated individuals to join the team of Ward Clerks. Ideally you will have reception and administration experience to help support the daily running of the wards and antenatal clinic. The team is friendly and flexible and cover shifts from 8am until 8pm seven days a week, the future aim of the team is to provide 24 hour cover to support the midwives. The positions available are full time or part time, permanent. Main duties of the job Inputting information onto computer systems following the birth of a baby. Admitting, discharging and transferring patients. Informing community and other maternity units of daily discharges. Making appointments for patients.
