We are currently seeking to recruit an End Point Assessment (EPA) Coordinator to join our team based at the Henry Ford Academy in Daventry. This role will report directly to the Quality Manager and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting EPA planning & preparation, moderating progression & quality of apprentice logbooks, showcases, evidence and assisting the EPA Manager in supporting the apprenticeship team to successful End Point Assessment outcomes.
The EPA Coordinator will possess relevant technical automotive experience and will ideally have worked in assessment environment, including having assessed/coached or mentored apprentices in a training and/or workshop environment. The Ford Apprenticeship Programme is responsible for the development of hundreds of apprentices across the UK. This role will link with our other manufacturers programmes including Stellantis (Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall, Jeep and Fiat), Porsche and Mazda.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Working closely with the Quality Manager, Operations Manager and apprenticeship programmes to ensure EPA is delivered using the quality systems provided.
* Assist with the planning & booking of Ford EPA’s across the Ford Apprenticeship Programmes we offer.
* Assist in the preparation of logbooks and showcases for EPA Gateways in a timely manner.
* Maintain and update all EPA reporting systems and any other administration support as deemed necessary.
* Work with End Point Assessment Organisations to ensure smooth planning and delivery of EPA’s.
* Operate and administer our Bud Learner Management System (full training provided)
* Monitor & moderate/ sample the quality of apprentice evidence within their EPA logbooks
* Support the Quality Manager with the delivery of standardisation meetings and any Quality Assurance duties deemed fit by the Quality Manager.
Person Specification
* Existing Apprenticeship awareness and experience, and linked qualifications. (Desirable)
* Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. AET, TAP) (Desirable)
* Maths & English GCSE Level 4/C or above (or equivalent) (Highly Desirable)
* Experience in coaching, assessing across multi-disciplined Apprenticeship programmes. (Desirable)
* Experience and understanding of the delivery of functional skills in Maths & English. (Desirable)
* Demonstrate an outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident personality, with a desire to engage with people.
* Strong communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* The ability to communicate with a variety of people at all levels of an organisation.
* Maintain a professional manner at all times.
* Demonstrate a pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Good attention to detail.
* A proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Place of Work: The successful applicant will work from the state of the art Henry Ford Academy based in Daventry and you may be expected to travel out to dealer locations to provide support to the apprenticeship programmes with the EPA process planning and attending meetings.
