Job summary A vacancy has arisen for a Ward Administrator on Audrey House a new 8 bedded female enhanced care service. This is due to open March 2025 The post is full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday during office hours. The post offers the opportunity to join a new developing team, where safety and wellbeing is at the heart of the team's ethos. Audrey House Is an 8 bedded female unit, for patients with enhanced mental and physical health needs. This is a new service and part of the making room for dignity project. You will have the opportunity to be part of the developing team and service. Main duties of the job You will be working closely with the clinical team to maintain the functionality of the team. You will provide admin support to the Ward Manager and the clinical team, including minuting meetings and arranging appointments. The job role will consist of carrying out standard administrator responsibilities, supporting the team and manager to maintain and develop the clinical and operational performance of the ward. Though you will not be providing hands on patient care, patients may look to you for support and advice which can be a rewarding experience. You will play a part in managing phone activity within the staff office and displaying the Trust and team values to patient, carers and colleagues. You will respond to the needs of people in an honest, non-judgemental and open manner which respects the rights of individuals and groups. You will ensure that services are provided in a safe and supportive environment and at all times adopt a professional approach to your work promoting a positive image to services users/carers and the general public.
