About the role This position reports directly to the Spare Parts Team Lead at Tritium and is based in Coventry, UK The Picker/Assembly/Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently moving raw and finished product within & outside a warehouse environment. Ensure accurate documentation, labelling, palletisation and presentation of product is adhered to. To be responsible for movement and storage of product. Unload and load trucks whilst monitor key performance indicators such as movements, damage and DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time). Ensure the warehouse & equipment is cleaned to standard on a daily basis. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Be responsible for the safe storage of products within company guidelines. Responsible to pick and pack work orders, Global transfer orders, Sales orders. Liaise with Logistics team regarding booking of parcels and docket labels. Report and clean up any damage within the warehouse. Perform daily checks on operating equipment. Maintain performance monitoring charts for different aspects of the warehouse process as required Perform all tasks to a high standard to meet Standard Operating Procedures and processes. Be responsible for the unloading and loading of trucks. Be responsible for the unloading and loading of shipping containers. Ensure DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) is the key focus for all activities undertaken. Assist the UK Spare Parts Manager with daily functions Liaise with other Spares team members, warehouse staff, wider supply chain team and external logistics/transport teams as required. Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to health & safety, wellbeing and the environment whilst complying with all laws and company policies Communicate effectively with UK Spare Parts Manager, Team Lead - Inventory, warehouse team and production management to ensure the long-term goals and targets are met. Support companywide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers Be an active functional member of the spares team. Co-operation and input will be required in relation to team performance and planning meetings Undertake identified personal training / development approved by the UK Spare Parts Manager About you You must hold a forklift licence for this position Previous experience in automotive and or defence sectors is highly desired Understanding and experience with standard warehousing practices Computer/Scanner aptitude Proficient with ERP systems Advanced problem solving and fault-finding abilities Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and planning skills Ability to manage all aspects of the role at times in a pressurised environment Knowledge and application of industrial and personal safety behaviours What’s on offer Our people are our most important asset.
