The ecommerce trading assistant plays a key role in the ecommerce team, supporting the day to day trading of specific categories and how they show up on boots.com, to achieve aggressive growth targets.
The current E-commerce trading assistant role is part of the Boots.com General Merchandise Team.
What you’ll need to have
1. Responsible for how your categories show up across boots.com, supporting to drive the total online revenue and profit targets.
2. Manage the NPD and sales plan briefing process ensuring accurate and on time delivery and checking the customer journey on the website.
3. Support the Ecommerce Trading Leads to develop and deliver the online trade plan, working with our key suppliers, trading, partnership marketing, supply, merchandising and our digital operations team to land our products and promotions right first time.
4. To have an understanding of the drivers within the category and the market.
5. Support the legal and safe trade of own categories online and delivery of KPIs.
It would be great if you also have
1. Digital experience working in an e-commerce role or able to demonstrate an active interest in e-commerce with trading experience.
2. Trading experience and financial acumen able to analyse, interpret and articulate financial performance.
3. Understanding and exposure to performance marketing and the trading levers.
4. Adaptable and able to maintain excellent prioritisation and organisation skills within a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Important Note: This role requires regular working outside normal office hours. This typically involves working from 5am one or two times a month. In general, you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.
