We shape planning policy, raise professional standards, and are the only body in the UK to confer Chartered status to planners, the highest professional qualification. This role is key to delivering a Corporate Strategy project that is central to the future of the planning profession for years to come. The work is part of the Institute's drive to open access to an exciting career in planning and sustainable development. Reporting to the Head of Education, you will support the roll-out of our 'initial planning education' policy. This will include supporting the implementation of improvements to policies and procedures and the quality assurance processes we have in place. You will also support the provision of advice and guidance to students. Experience and skills required include: organising and prioritising work effectively, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy including analytical skills, and a good understanding of higher education. Prior experience of working in a professional membership organisation, university or accreditation body would be desirable.
