Job Details You will be responsible for the solemnisation of civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies in accordance with the requirements of National Records of Scotland in Council premises and other Council authorised venues across Fife. You will also conduct other non-statutory ceremonies such as naming and renewal of marriage vows ceremonies. A link to the role profile is included below. You will find more information about the job and the type of person we are looking for. The Person The post of Civil Ceremonies Celebrant is very rewarding and an enjoyable challenge. You will have experience of working with the public and confidence in speaking in front of large numbers of people and you should be able to relate to and respond appropriately to the needs of the customer. You will have the ability to demonstrate a professional approach to work and can work effectively alone and as part of a team. You should have the ability to work under pressure and to solve problems using your own initiative. You will have the ability to travel between venues and show a flexible attitude towards work. It is essential that you have a good standard of personal presentation. Although formal qualifications are not essential, you should have a good standard of general education. Full training will be given in post.
