Role Description:
RedCompass Labs is expanding our Commercial Team, and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help scale our business and strengthen our key client relationships. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts in the UK, Europe and North America, playing a crucial role in driving growth and ensuring client satisfaction.
In this role, you will support and manage multiple accounts, managing existing clients as well as identifying new opportunities. You will be the primary sales point of contact for these clients, ensuring smooth delivery of services while seeking to expand revenue within the account. You will also support the acquiring of new customers.
The ideal candidate will have proven commercial experience across a mix of account management and new business development. You may have experience working in a consultancy, bank, fintech, or vendor, but what matters most is your drive to grow and develop in the next stage of your career.
Required Skills and Experience:
* At least 4 years' experience in account management, new business sales or a hybrid role of new/existing sales
* A genuine desire to learn and develop
* Initiative and problem-solving skills
* Enjoy working with people and building relationships
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where what you do each day varies
* The ability to work in a matrix organization with different stakeholders involved in the sales process
Bonus points if you have:
* Formal commercial training i.e. CO-IMPACT, MEDDIC etc.
* Proven experience in managing complex large banks as customers and the ability to navigate across them
* Experience in banking and payments
* Fluency in Dutch or Nordic languages
* Experience in using HubSpot as a CRM
