E-Commerce Administrator
Direct Sports are one of the UK’s leading online sports retailers. We are based at Wynyard Business Park, Stockton-on-Tees and are a financially robust business with over 20 years' experience within the sports e-commerce business.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic company and to play a key part in a crucial aspect of the business. You will be working in a tight-knit team of five colleagues within the Sales Admin team and report directly to the E-Commerce Manager. The role will also involve liaising with external suppliers, customers and other internal departments including Software Development, Management and Accounts.
Ideally suited for those with a good level of familiarity using computer systems / spreadsheets, who are looking for a rewarding and multi-faceted position.
Required Skill set
* Organised with an ability to prioritise workload.
* Highly literate and numerate.
* Competent in office organisation and file management.
* Keen, highly motivated and with a desire to progress, learn & improve.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Full time position: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 9 - 5 / 5:30
The role
You will be engaged in a range of administrative and clerical duties and to represent the company in a professional manner. You will require the ability to work accurately and possess an effective manner, in all verbal and written communication.
Duties will involve:
* Purchasing / liaising with suppliers.
* Assisting customers with phone and email enquiries.
* Working with management, design and developers to deliver change improvement and assist with projects.
* Producing and running reports, analysing data.
* Ad-hoc administrative tasks.
* Credit / fraud screening high value purchases.
* Working on promotions and projects with partners such as Badminton England.
You will need to be highly numerate and literate, a confident communicator and possess strong computer skills. Training, guidance and support will be provided to help develop your role.
