The Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for managing and developing the strategic relationships with our clients distribution partners. The team are also responsible for the effective onboarding of new suppliers negotiating favourable terms and minimising risk to the business. Salary is up to £44k dep on skills and experience plus £1k bonus and superb benefits.
The successful candidate will be ambitious, analytical with superb attention to detail and excellent communication and influencing skills.
Duties include
1. Overall responsibility for up to 5 specific partners
2. Improve the partners performance in line with key priorities of providing the best customer service for the best market value
3. Understand agreed commercials and aligned vendors from the annual tender process and drive preferential terms for Softcat including payment terms, rebates and service levels
