Software Asset Management Administrator
Fully remote - 3-month contract (scope to extend) - starting 6th of January
£14.00 - £14.50 Per hour
We are looking for an experienced software licence specialist, administrator to join a global Software services company.
Job Duties:
1. Compliance and Reporting:
Assisting the ITVOM in the implementation of new policies and procedures.
Producing and generating compliance reports and reporting to stakeholders where required.
Providing regular reports on software licence usage, compliance and cost.
2. Stakeholder Management:
Creating and maintaining a good rapport and working relationship with third party stakeholders and clients.
Communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
3. Management of Software Licences:
Managing software licences across multiple vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Oracle.
Helping maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all software.
Assisting in the management of software licence agreements.
Proactively researching cost-saving activities across the current database.
Assisting in the management of software contracts ensuring compliance with T&Cs.
Knowledge of Snow and Snow Atlas, including SAM core and SAAS.
4. Software Procurement:
Assisting with the transfer of the software procurement process.
Involved in the transfer of the purchasing process via the Spend council.
Assisting the ITVOM in leading the weekly spend council meetings.
Reviewing purchasing, renewals, and additions in licensing.
5. Process and Documentation:
Assisting the ITVOM with developing and implementing processes and documentation for SAM.
Ensuring they align with current practices.
