We have an exciting opportunity to a Gateway Airfreight Coordinator to join a successful forwarder. Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm with occasional weekends. Job Content Working as part of LHR Export gateway for all branches. Plan Flight Schedules / manage allocation and rates Responsible for ensuring clients KPI requirements. Flight and capacity management to get best achieved rates Planning and executing ULD builds Hold strong relationships with the carrier operations Working with internal teams; operations, warehouse, ATF planners in meeting carrier cut off CASS understanding and processing Accurate completion of all types of customs paperwork and shipping documents. Responsible for financials for each job, such as: managing daily job cost with internal departments such as pricing, sales and commercial. To ensure company financial regulations are followed and the correct paperwork (sales, COD or immediate payment invoices) is raised as necessary. To ensure all distribution/warehouse related matters are carried out in accordance with import/export procedures. Support junior members of the team in their learning and development. Ensure all queries are acted upon immediately and where necessary escalated to senior staff. Adhere to Aviation Security and the companys security procedure. Ensure that you are cross trained so that you can provide cover for other team members. Experience needed Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths or Equivalent Experience. Experience in Cargo wise/Sequoia. Sea/Air freight import/export experience. You will be able to work under pressure, a strong eye for detail and be proficient using MS office programmes including Outlook, Excel and word. Communication.
