COUNTER CONTEXT: Internship Program The Opportunity Are you ambitious and seeking hands-on experience within the UK's most exciting renewable energy, major infrastructure, regeneration and transport projects? We are looking for Interns to join our supportive and tight-knit team of communications professionals for up to 12 weeks. Our internship is perfect for someone who wants to enhance their CV or as a gateway into a career in communications at Counter Context. During the internship, you could be undertaking research to inform a communications strategy, helping to plan a community event or inputting data as part of a project's feedback analysis. We particularly encourage applicants interested in politics, communications science, transport schemes, environmental science, planning, sustainability or humanities-based subjects. Your internship will involve: · Research and insight gathering – undertaking research to help the formulation of communications strategies, including political research, local community mapping and research into industry trends. · Event planning and support – supporting our Account Executives with planning stakeholder events, public exhibitions and webinars. This may involve organising venues, catering, logistics, producing risk assessments etc., as well as providing support at the events. · Stakeholder communication management – keeping databases of political, business and community stakeholders accurate and up-to-date, managing returned mail and managing the mail of consultation materials to stakeholders · Reporting – using both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyse consultation feedback and reporting the results back to clients, informing the future of their projects. Hours of work: Our program hours run Monday to Friday, 9pm- 5pm in our Sheffield City Centre office.
