Hours: Full Time - Required on-site. Working on a day shift from 0800 — 1600, Mon — Fri.

Key Information: To ensure that adequate parts and materials are readily available and that laboratory coats, gowns and PPE are fully stocked and available in the changing rooms. Waste from the facility will also need to be monitored and managed daily.
Working on: Lab and manufacturing areas meet clean room standards. The maintenance of their HVAC equipment is of the utmost importance to ensure their production and science always remain operational.
Additional qualifications Must Haves: Previous experience in undertaking a similar role. Stock management experience/inventory skills.
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage the day to day stock management to ensure business continuity.
There will also be required to have a good working knowledge of stock control tasks but not limited to:
* Management of end user stock inventory requirements
* Ordering materials which consider delivery timings to meet business needs
* Stock return management
* Accurate record keeping meeting auditing purposes
* Use of stock management database
* Management of waste
* Assisting engineers with other PPM or reactive tasks
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Stock management using client’s system to order all lab stock and distribute these to the relevant work area.
* Update Maximo stock database and provide physical stock take check against Maximo and the Thermo-Fischer app virtual stock count.
* Pick and issue all general maintenance parts and lab consumables/ manage stock rotation to meet expiry dates.
* Quarantine goods in and process delivery notes as well as compliance and quality certification for upload into database.
* Manage all returns and update inventory database of returns or unused stock.
* Check condition of un-used stock or serviceable parts and either restock or remove for waste depending on condition of parts/materials.
* Re-order parts and consumable as and when stock gets low and anticipate future requirements and revise stock levels accordingly.
* Co-ordinate collection of serviceable parts for re-certification/ refurbishment.
* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
* Manage waste materials from the facility ensuring waste is correctly segregated and stored in the correct containers.
* Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To always include the wearing of uniform and PPE.
* Undertake mandatory training and skill related training as required by the business.
* To develop and maintain a good working relationship with all members of our clients Staff, Sub-Contractors and the Client representatives.
* To work in a manner which ensures that all aspects of the service agreement between our client and the customers are delivered with the requisite levels of professionalism.
* Ensuring the professional image of our client is always presented to Clients.
* Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of our client are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
* Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
* There may be a requirement to work out of hours to fulfil our maintenance commitments of our customers and be part of the on call rota.
* Undertake regular audits of tools to ensure they are in safe working order, including all test equipment is in date.
Any other task as directed by the contract manager.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
* A recognised industry qualification would be desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience in undertaking a similar role.
* Stock management experience / inventory skills.
* Must have a full clean drivers’ licence.
* Computer literate.
* Good communicator.
* Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
* Able to work as part of a team.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
* To always maintain a clean and smart appearance.
* Fluent in English both written and oral.
