About the role
We are looking for an experienced Grounds person to join our Facilities Team at NFU Mutual. Join our dedicated team maintaining a picturesque 24-acre site known for its pristine condition. We pride ourselves on creating an inviting and well-kept environment for visitors, employees, and the community.
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Grounds person to help maintain and enhance the landscape of our expansive site. Alongside our expansive lawns, we also have tennis courts, cricket pitch, bowling green and playing fields on our site that require to be kept in immaculate condition as these are also used by our local community.
We require someone who is flexible and understands that some tasks required will be determined by seasons, weather and UK daylight saving time.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon.
About you
You’ll be passionate about groundskeeping and take pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes. You’ll have experience in operating mowers (pedestrian and ride on), hedge cutters, strimmers, tractors and trailers. You’ll also have experience in groundskeeping and some knowledge of plants, gardening techniques with a proactive approach. You’ll have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You’ll also have an understanding of health and safety practices related to grounds keeping.
To join our team, you’ll also have;
* Drivers Licence
* Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft packages such as Outlook and Excel)
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
