We're excited to be recruiting for an Associate Director of Nursing for West Suffolk Community and Specialist Services, based at Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering optimal outcomes for service users and the local health population within the available resources. You will work closely with the Locality Director of Nursing to develop, direct, and lead service improvement and performance strategies and policies to support the delivery of safe and effective care.

Main Duties of the Job
The Associate Director of Nursing will work closely with the Locality Director of Nursing to ensure that high quality care is delivered within the Locality services and providing professional leadership to the Locality nursing workforce.
You will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential:
* First level nurse with current NMC registration UK
* Post-graduate training or experience of leadership / management
* MSc and / or equivalent demonstrable clinical experience that recognises highly developed and complex levels of knowledge
Other Essential:
* Ability to travel independently
Experience Essential:
* Experience of working in a post with strategic nursing responsibility and operational management in a complex setting and diverse situations
* Substantial demonstrable experience of strategic planning and delivering long term transformation that delivers lasting change and improvement
Knowledge Essential:
* Knowledge of the national nursing agenda
* Knowledge of integrated governance/quality governance
