Job Description IT Support Engineer – Windows / Azure - Wilmslow, Cheshire TeamCandour have partnered with a thriving solutions provider with offices in the beautiful town of Wilmslow, Cheshire to add an accomplished IT Support Engineer to their growing team. Due to the nature of the work which involves a lot of face to face interaction with the team, they do require someone on site 5 days a week – parking does form part of the benefits package. The role: The role will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure to provide excellent customer service for our staff and customers. Systems are primarily cloud based using an IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) model so a key part of the role will be monitoring and liaising with third parties to ensure systems are secure, updated, operational and that they are delivering a good service. Qualifications, knowledge & experience: Technical knowledge and experience of M365 administration. Microsoft MTA: IT Infrastructure or CompTIA Network qualification or equivalent knowledge, exposure and experience. Technical knowledge and experience in network switch / wireless administration. Technical knowledge and experience in Citrix XenDesktop administration and performance management. Technical knowledge and experience in managing security vulnerability software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to a non-technological audience. Teamwork skills and the ability to work with different levels of staff across the business. Ability to manage/prioritise multiple tasks/projects.
