As an Account Executive, Mid-Market, you will be responsible for identifying and closing new business while also managing a book of business within an assigned territory. You have a competitive drive, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to uncover customer needs while driving consensus across all stakeholders. Your strong relationship-building skills, strategic account management, and ability to execute a full sales cycle will be key to your success.
You are self-motivated, curious by nature, and relentless in your pursuit of winning, doing whatever it takes to close deals. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Sales Development, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success, to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Responsibilities:
* Manage a defined book of business while developing and expanding relationships within an assigned territory.
* Build and execute strategic territory and account plans to identify growth opportunities and maximise revenue potential.
* Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities, driving full-cycle sales processes from discovery to contract negotiation and deal closure.
* Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations that articulate the company’s value proposition and align with customer needs.
* Leverage selling techniques that provide a unique perspective to customers about their business and drive consensus among stakeholders at all levels.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Development, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure sales success and seamless customer handoffs.
* Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting using Salesforce and other sales tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions.
* Involves travel up to 30%.
* Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
* 3+ years of experience selling enterprise software deals to the executive suite.
* Proven track record of exceeding quota and driving revenue growth.
* Experience managing a book of business and closing complex deals within a defined territory.
* Ability to develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive both new business and account expansion.
* Strong ability to independently build pipeline and execute full sales cycles.
* Proficiency in using CRM tools like Salesforce and sales automation platforms.
* Ability to drive internal alignment and work collaboratively across teams.
* Adaptability to changing circumstances and business priorities.
