Document Controller
£40,000 - £45,000
Mid Kent - must drive
Permanent full time role Monday to Friday – 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Document Controller on behalf of our construction client. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Document Controller within construction.
Duties include:
1. Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and management of documents.
2. Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents in line with regulations.
3. Quality checking all documents ensuring all documentation meets requirements and standards.
4. Managing all O&M documentation.
5. Providing the team with timely updates and reports.
6. Creating, issuing, filing and tracking of variation orders.
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
7. Previous experience in a similar role within construction.
8. Experience working with O&Ms and BREEAM.
9. A strong understanding of document control systems.
10. Excellent administrative skills.
11. IT competent and proficient using Microsoft packages.
12. Meticulous attention to detail.
13. Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle – role will mainly be office based but you will be required to cover numerous sites for document control as and when required.
