NYES Digital Officer – Web Development
Salary: £26,409 to £33,366 per annum
Contract Type: Established Full Time
Hours/Working Pattern: 37 hrs
Location: Hybrid working with a contractual base location at NYC County Hall Northallerton

NYES Digital are a well-established traded service of North Yorkshire Council with a solid reputation for delivering high-quality ICT support and development services to schools, academies, and a growing number of commercial customers.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Web Designer to join our team of ICT support professionals.
Your role will be varied and challenging. You will be responsible for delivering website and cloud service projects to current and new customers. In addition, support will be provided by telephone, remote connection, and some onsite visits, under the guidance of the Principal Support Officers and the ICT Development manager.
Your tasks will include creating, maintaining, and training WordPress websites, as well as working with Microsoft 365 Teams and associated technologies. You will also support the cloud infrastructure that hosts the website technologies.
Your duties may include meetings with school staff, other customers, and officers at the Council to deliver and manage website projects.
We are seeking a self-motivated professional with a strong customer focus and a commitment to quality. You will have experience implementing, supporting, and maintaining websites. Experience in the education sector would be an advantage but is not essential as training and support will be available.
