Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Nottinghamshire
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide personalised one-on-one teaching to students with various learning needs. If you have a patient approach and a genuine desire to make a difference, we would love to have you join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to the specific needs of students with SEN, including those with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support each student’s progress.
* Create engaging, supportive, and flexible learning environments that cater to the unique strengths and challenges of each student.
* Foster a positive, encouraging, and patient atmosphere to build students’ confidence and motivation.
* Track progress and adjust learning strategies as needed.
* Provide assistance with homework, exam preparation, and life skills development, as appropriate to the student’s needs.
Requirements:
* Experience or qualifications in working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Relevant qualifications in Education, Special Educational Needs, or a related field (preferred).
* Strong understanding of various SEN strategies, techniques, and interventions.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students in reaching their full potential.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
