Sandwell Children's Trust are recruiting for a full-time Service Support Assistant, this is a fixed term contract until August 2026.The role is to support front line Social Workers and Managers with all aspects of administration. The role includes managing and triaging a shared inbox and using the Liquid Logic Childrens Services System to process Early Help Assessments within the agreed timescale and supporting Early Help MASH with general requests and queries.
We are looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate, committed and dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
The successful candidate must be IT literate, have good communication and telephone skills, good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their own workload. Also be able to work independently and as part of a team. You must also be prepared to travel to locations across Sandwell Borough.
What you need to be successful in this role:
* Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role.
* Will hold NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
* Experience of finance and procurement would be an advantage.
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.
* Have the ability to plan & organise diaries.
