About the Role
Join this global team as a Supply Chain Business Partner, working at the heart of operations to drive efficiency, optimise inventory, and provide strategic insights. Partnering with finance and supply chain leaders, you’ll shape global strategies, improve performance, and support business growth.
Salary: 40k - 50k depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Performance:
o Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
o Analyse inventory, demand planning, and production requirements across regions.
o Identify efficiencies to cut costs, reduce lead times, and improve operations.
o Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners worldwide.
o Act as the main point of contact for global business partners, ensuring smooth collaboration.
o Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure the best terms.
2. Logistics & Operations:
o Oversee global supply chain flow, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
o Monitor logistics partner performance, ensuring compliance with cost and quality standards.
o Work with distribution teams to streamline warehousing and delivery processes.
o Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, from geopolitical issues to supplier challenges.
o Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs laws, and sustainability policies.
o Conduct inventory audits and supplier assessments to uphold company standards.
3. Data & Insights:
o Track key performance metrics, from inventory turnover to transport costs.
o Deliver insightful reports to senior management, driving data-led decisions.
o Enhance financial performance reporting through budget analysis and forecasting.
4. Technology & Innovation:
o Partner with Systems teams to optimise supply chain technology and data analytics.
o Ensure accuracy in inventory data management and digital tracking.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives through insights and technology.
What You’ll Need
Experience & Skills:
1. At least three years in supply chain management or finance business partnering within manufacturing.
2. Strong financial acumen, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
3. Proficiency in Excel; SAP Business One knowledge is a plus.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
