Overview
Our client is a specialist fit-out and refurbishment team dedicated to bringing spaces to life. They aim to be the preferred choice for smart interior fit-out and refurbishment across multiple sectors in the UK. They are looking to appoint an Estimator to be based from their head office in Yeovil, Somerset.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for fit-out and refurbishment projects.
* Analyse project specifications, drawings, and documentation to understand requirements.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
* Assess project risks and provide value engineering solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of tenders and costings.
* Collaborate with the project team to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Key Requirements (Skills & Experience)
* Proven experience as an Estimator in the fit-out and refurbishment sector.
* Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and procurement processes.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred).
