This is an exciting time to join the AECOM Energy team covering all aspects of work within Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Renewables, and Nuclear decommissioning, along with our ever-expanding digital scope.
The growth of the digital team in the Energy sector requires the appointment of a Digital Optimisation Lead who will guide our internal delivery teams to transform and optimise our engineering deliverables and implement digital adoption technology and product development.
Responsibilities:
1. Digital adoption across the region – identify areas where upskilling and support in project delivery is required to successfully deliver digital methods of working.
2. Collaborate Globally: Build trusted relationships with our global leads, ensuring global initiatives are cascaded across the team.
3. Act as digital lead across multiple projects or frameworks.
4. Ensure suitable resources are identified and allocated to projects.
5. Point of contact within the region for technical software queries.
6. Present at regional Energy townhalls, communicating local teams’ digital initiatives, updates, and successes.
7. Work with Energy Digital Lead to plan and develop digital strategies.
8. Enhance AECOM's market profile as a leading provider of digital solutions in the Energy end market.
9. Foster improvements in quality and efficiency by integrating digital tools and methodologies.
10. Track and communicate progress using metrics such as software token usage and client satisfaction surveys.
11. Collaborate with Project Managers and technical leaders to guarantee optimal resource utilisation.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in mentoring and coaching technical and non-technical teams.
2. Experience influencing non-technical executive stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated experience in work winning for digital or technology practices.
4. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
5. Knowledge of commercial workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Management, or relevant field.
2. Desirable Professional Certification: Information Management.
