We are looking for a specialised Personal Care Worker with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience to join our Memory Support Unit on a permanent full-time basis.
Using your experience in dementia care within residential aged care settings, a Personal Care Worker in our Memory Support Unit provides behaviour support for people living with dementia.
What you’ll love to do
* Ensure resident hygiene and safety as a first priority
* Collaborate to understand residents living with dementia in our Memory Support Unit with best-practice support and care
* Support recommendation plans and behaviour support strategies
* Monitor, accurately record and communicate the condition and needs of residents
* Ensure the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of residents are met
Hour of Work
* Full-time
* 0900h – 1706h
* Monday – Friday
What you’ll need
* Minimum two (2) years’ experience
* Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
* Understanding of the new Aged Care Quality Standards
* NDIS Check (includes Police Check)
* Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
* Warm interpersonal and communication skills
