* We are looking for candidates with a strong educational background in a relevant field, ideally with a Master's degree. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an investment bank, financial institution, or consultancy. A strong Business Analyst skillset is essential, with the ability to clearly define business requirements and document functional specifications related to data migration projects. Experience with loan systems, ideally ACBS and Loan IQ, is highly desirable. You should have a solid understanding of the complexities involved in loan data migration, as well as experience migrating data from legacy systems to new platforms and cloud environments like Snowflake. Technical proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, comparison, and validation is required. Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority and strong interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are also important.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, while the scope of each project may vary, your duties will include conducting detailed business analysis to define requirements and ensure alignment with the target system. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm business logic, use cases, and field mappings between old and new systems. Your responsibilities will also involve documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and field definitions to ensure consistency with migration needs. You will validate current data for consistency and completeness based on migration requirements, implement data integrity checks, and execute SQL queries to extract and compare datasets, identifying discrepancies and data quality issues. Additionally, you'll collaborate with business and technology teams to develop test plans, lead the migration of data, and troubleshoot data issues that arise during the migration process.
