Mobile Electrician
Up to £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) and Company Van
40 hours per week, flexibility to working hours and days required
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team providing reactive and planned maintenance. This role will support various 14forty contracts and therefore, requires National travel for the role.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and control systems in commercial or industrial properties.
2. Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and repair of malfunctioning systems or equipment.
3. Respond to scheduled jobs and emergency call-outs across client sites.
4. Liaise with clients to understand issues and provide effective solutions on-site.
5. Identify faults, conduct repairs, and replace components in electrical systems.
6. Test and inspect electrical systems and installations for safety and functionality, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
7. Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
8. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
9. Provide professional, courteous service to all clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
10. Educate customers on proper electrical system maintenance and address any concerns or queries.
About You:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent qualification
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.
* Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) preferred but not essential.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician.
* Experience in diagnosing electrical faults, installations, and maintenance in diverse settings.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues.
* Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and software for diagnostics and reporting.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* ECS card (preferred).
