We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Lead to join our HR team. This role has responsibility for the end to end processing of our weekly payroll.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the payroll processing system and time and attendance records
2. Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and comply with relevant legislation
3. Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in time and attendance and payroll records
4. Complete payroll reports for record keeping and management information
5. Comply with tax and national insurance obligations
6. Liaise with colleagues across the business including HR, Finance and Operations
You will be able to demonstrate:
1. Previous experience of preparing payrolls
2. Exceptional organisational and planning skills
3. The ability to work to strict deadlines
4. A great eye for detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
5. Maintain confidentiality
6. Accounting and bookkeeping skills
7. Excellent IT skills
8. Confident on Excel
9. Familiarity with payroll software
10. Understanding of tax and national insurance procedures
11. Familiarity with benefits and other wage deductions
12. GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
You must be eligible to work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.
