Role Overview: As Service Director, you will report directly to the Managing Director and hold comprehensive responsibility for leading the strategy and execution of all service delivery. This pivotal role demands strong communication, proactive leadership, and seamless coordination across departments to ensure optimal service outcomes and alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee the company’s service delivery strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and customer expectations.
* Lead, mentor, and manage multi-disciplinary service teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
* Establish and refine processes to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to support company growth through strategic planning and innovation.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in service delivery.
* Act as a key liaison between departments to enhance communication and streamline service operations.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior service leadership role within the technology sector.
* Proven success in managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
* Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* In-depth knowledge of technology solutions, including managed services, cloud, and security infrastructure.
* Ability to liaise with C-suite stakeholders and influence strategic initiatives.
Location & Travel: This hybrid role requires flexibility, with time split between offices in Essex (approximately 60/40), alongside client visits as needed.
