Hunter Savage are working in partnership with an ever-growing Logistics & Distribution firm based in Dublin on the appointment of a Transport Planner.

In your new role:
* Assign customer sales to transport efficiently and in the most cost-effective way ensuring that all delivery requests are met for all customers
* Plan and assign SORs to drivers and confirm booking dates
* Maintain both driver and customer relationships
* Create reports and delivery schedules for customers
* Frequently liaise with Customer Services and Sales to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of deliveries to customers
* Ensure all files and records are fully up to date
* Work towards strict deadlines to ensure targets are met and up to the standards expected
* Strong focus on continuous improvement identifying ways to improve performance
What you will need to succeed:
* A minimum of one year experience working within a Transport department in a similar industry
* Good geographical understanding of the island of Ireland
* Fully competent with computers
This role will have a Butterfly Shift pattern 6.30am – 6.30pm.
Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2:
Wednesday & Thursday
