Are you looking for a part-time, term-time only role in a dynamic library/learning resource centre setting?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the friendly Library and Learning Resource Centre team at our Brighton MET campuses. This site has recently benefited from a 16-million-pound reinvestment, and we are proud to offer our school leavers, apprentices and adult learners cutting edge facilities in the heart of the City.
The College’s Learning Resource Centres provide resources for guided, student-centered learning. Designed to facilitate flexible course delivery, they provide extensive Library and ICT facilities, housing dedicated resources and materials for specialist subjects and functional skills. The Centres offer learning materials in print, electronic and multimedia formats, providing an environment for individual work, group work, research, the practice of skills, the provision of evidence and assessment. They embrace all aspects of Information Literacy and Learning Technology.
As our Learning Resources Assistant, you will have previous experience of working in a college library or learning resource centre, using online learning resources and tools. Excellent customer service skills and ability to support learning are also essential.

Hours of work: Monday 9:30am - 2:30pm, Tuesday 8:30am - 2:30pm, Wednesday 9:30am - 2:30pm, Thursday 9:30am - 2:30pm (this is at our East Brighton Campus), Friday 9:30am - 2pm
