Radiographer, Healthcare Assistant, Theatre Practitioner, Chef Manager, Theatre Supplies, Bookings Administrator – Spire Lea Hospital
The Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital in Impington is currently recruiting for multiple roles including these:
1. Radiographer: Provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients, make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required, and communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient. Apply before 28/06/2024.
2. Healthcare Assistant – Wards: Assist the team on the surgical ward in the provision of exemplary patient care, contribute to the support and monitoring of patients, identify and report any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being, and assist with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies. 3. Theatre Practitioner – Orthopaedics: Care for patients undergoing procedures, provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage, assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department, and act as either Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities. 4. Chef Manager: Develop training and monitoring initiatives to ensure that the Catering Department meets the needs of their patients and other departments. Supervise kitchen areas, restaurant, and ward pantries, ensuring excellent service in accordance with Spire policies. Prepare food items to a high standard, in a hygienic and safe manner at all times, and take responsibility for planning and preparation of any special functions. Apply before 24/06/2024.
5. Theatre Supplies: Assist with the supply of healthcare consumables/products to the theatre department and form part of the Supply Chain team to carry out operational tasks in the Theatres. Apply before 24/06/2024.
6. Bookings Administrator – FTC: Work on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, working 37.5 hours per week in the Inpatient Bookings office. Carry out duties to ensure a smooth and efficient patient journey. Previous administrative experience and customer interaction are preferred. Ideally, the contract will start no later than April/May, with a preference for an earlier start for training. Apply before 21/06/2024.
