Role Overview:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent educational experiences for children in Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7). You will have the opportunity to shape young minds, create a positive and nurturing classroom environment, and contribute to the continued success of the school. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about education, has a strong commitment to raising standards, and can inspire children to develop a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to both children and parents
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all students
- Support the emotional and social development of students, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing
- Contribute to the school’s wider community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events
Person Specification:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS1 (or equivalent) in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures
- A passionate and creative approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children
- A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges
