We're seeking a highly skilled Automation and Software Manager to join our Business Centre in Bradford. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week based in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and implement new features and applications for customers within the Liberty Global portfolio of businesses
* Drive development best practices and ensure high performance and quality in the codebase
* Engage in proactive problem-solving and quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies
* Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of the .net core framework (8.0), C#, and asp.net Core
* Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation, e.g. Docker
* Experience in React, HTML, and CSS
* Understanding of SQL databases
* Knowledge of version control (GIT) and continuous integration/deployment processes
* Knowledge and experience in writing unit and integration tests
* Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues
* Effective communication skills to express ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
