We require an administrator to work in Student Services, your key role will be to
provide administrative support for two year groups and their year leaders.
The main responsibilities are to:
• Oversee and monitor the registration process for students, including leaves of absence and first day calling
• Log and complete administrative support for detentions and other sanctions
• Liaise and communicate effectively with parents and carers
• Maintain student files, and ensure that information on the MIS is up-to-date
• Oversee the Student Service Desk, on a rota basis with other student services administrators
• Deal and administer basic first aid to students (training will be provided)
• Support, deputise and cover for other administrative staff throughout the academy as necessary. This will include main reception, Sixth Form study supervision.
You will have excellent administrative and interpersonal skills, GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and an ability to use a range of IT applications; Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and Power Point. You need to be flexible, a good team player and be able to deal with confidential information in a sensitive way.
