Salary: £35,100 + £1,800 bonus
Service: Children’s Home (Therapeutic Lead with Clinical Team in House)
Service Users: EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)
Qualifications Required:
Experience: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma with social care pathway
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, Working 50% on Shift, 50% Managerial duties. Sleeps required.

About the Job:
The successful Deputy Manager will be confident, work well independently, possess excellent communication skills, make informed decisions, and have the ability to develop staff to their full potential. Responsibilities include assisting the Registered Manager in maintaining the smooth running of the home, promoting a harmonious culture, and ensuring high standards of care. Additionally, the Deputy Manager will provide protection and support to the children and young people by facilitating their physical, psychological, emotional, and social development.
Entry Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (or working towards completion)
* Ability to manage the home in the Manager's absence to an excellent standard
* Experience working with children/young people in a Residential Childcare setting (minimum two years)
* Knowledge and experience in a supervisory role of a Children's Home
* Flexibility to undertake shift work, including weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or a preparedness to work towards the same
