Main duties of the job
User Researchers are key figures in improving NICE’s content and digital presence, gaining a sound understanding of user needs and behaviours to inform decisions.
You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to deliver high-level user research programmes and projects that will support NICE’s strategic objectives. Where required, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on delivering the product strategy and implementing content transformation alongside content designers, UX designers, developers, and subject matter experts.
You will be required to:
* Support the implementation of the usable strategy
* Plan, design and conduct user research projects in their entirety, covering both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including usability testing and conducting discovery sessions.
* Use a variety of research tools for data capture, testing and analysis including understanding how users interact with the live website (including Excel, SNAP, Hotjar)
* Work and collaborate with other disciplines such as data analytics to supplement research data
* Advocate user research principles and best practice within NICE
* Consistently promote the voice of the users and ensure they are central to decisions

Person specification
Education/Qualifications
* Educated to undergraduate degree level in a relevant subject, or have equivalent knowledge acquired through experience and further training.
Experience
* Proven experience of conducting user research with a digital focus.
* Proven experience of implementing the full research lifecycle from design to analysis and communication of findings.
* Proven experience of working in an agile development environment with UX and content designers, developers, and/or service delivery managers.
Skills/Knowledge
* Ability to independently plan and conduct complex user research projects.
