The Role:
The Train Cleaner role will cover all aspects of interior cleaning on the trains. You will be carrying out a full clean on the interior of the train, which means you will be cleaning everything from the roof of the train to the bottom of the train, within public view. The duties you will be carrying out will be:
1. Wiping down surfaces
2. Sanitizing touch points
3. Hoovering
4. Mopping
5. Dusting
6. Cleaning & restocking the toilets
Hours wise, it is an 07:00am - 17:00pm DAY shift role, which operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Pay Rate & Benefits:
The pay rate for the Train Cleaner position will be at £12.60 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

Requirements:
7. Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
8. Be able to pass a full railway medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc
9. Be able to attend a week of training at Newton Heath Depot, starting on 28/04/2025
10. Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
11. Happy to help mentality/attitude
12. A decent fitness is needed as the site is very large and will involve a lot of walking, so please keep this in mind when applying
