Sherwood House is a registered residential care home providing care and support to adults over the age of 65. Set in the charming village of Linby, Nottingham, between Ravenshead and Hucknall and close to Junction 27 of the M1. We have a strong committed, enthusiastic team who pride themselves on providing a home from home experience for all our residents. As Assistant Manager, some of your duties will include but are not limited to: Maintain and comply with the agreed service delivery standards and statutory requirements. Ensure support is delivered in accordance with NCHA’s principles and values; including formulating, implementing and reviewing individual support plans and risk assessments. Ensure service users’ financial resources are maximised and managed effectively. Deputise for the manager as necessary. Recruit, induct and support and develop colleagues; managing and evaluating performance effectively. As well as having passion, enthusiasm and drive to learn, we require the following; You hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care and a relevant numeracy and literacy qualification Demonstrable ability to operate at a supervisory level, ensuring colleagues follow NCHA procedures You will be required to work over both services, so you will have a good flexible and adaptable approach in order to maximise the support offered over both teams. You will already have a good understanding of housing related support, experience of working with vulnerable people and be able to work positively in a team You will have good IT skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Monday-Friday 37 hours per week. May require late shifts and weekend work for the needs of the service.
