As Liaison nurse for leukaemia patients, you will lead the planning of care and liaison with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless pathway of care for patients and families with leukaemia. You will be expected to work alongside the consultants, in particular attending MDT meetings and coordinating the clinics for this specialty. The post holder will be required to collaborate with teams across the East Midlands to ensure patients receive a high quality of service. Most importantly, you will be an advocate for the patient and their family.

1. Treatment Planning and liaison for children and young people with a leukaemia diagnosis
2. Pre ward round meeting Monday 09.30
3. Leukaemia MDT
4. Discussing treatment plans with families
5. Communication with teams across the region to ensure timely care and support for families
6. Supporting leukaemia clinics
