Scout recruiting has a temporary position for an administrator in a transport department. The role requires someone with strong administration skills and who is available for a 3month contract starting at the beginning of December.
Your role would be to ensure all aspects of transport administration are kept accurately up to date whilst meeting relevant deadlines.
Normal working hours are 42.5 hours per week Mon to Friday or 8am – 5pm (shift times may be varied to suit) The hours can be flexible if you prefer e.g. 7am – 4pm or 6am – 3pm.
This role is located at our clients Nottingham office.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate input of timesheet information into wages spreadsheet in readiness for driver monthly payroll.
• Daily Trutac reports and calculation of driver finish times and hours, which assists transport in driver management.
• Upkeep of Trutac in line with tachograph and working time directive legislation of driver attendance/absence.
• Trade 3rd Party reconciliations
• Data entry to produce Weekly Volume Graphs and ensuring information between Power BI and Excel is accurate.
• Weekly Trade Weighing Report – transfer of information from driver worksheets and Elemos system, ensuring up to date daily.
• HWRC - Input lift and associated data daily and monthly report generation.
• Resolution of Trade Invoice queries in conjunction with trade planners ensuring that credit note approvals are submitted and root caused remedied.
• Upkeep and data input of various new business spreadsheets.
• Upkeep of variety of operational reports for weekly and monthly submission at various management levels.
• Support admin functions of Fleet department and driver trainer as required.
• Promotes positive employee engagement through open communication.
• Maintains adherence to the relevant legislative requirements and Company procedures and standards (including health and safety, personnel, transport)
