Why are we hiring a Finance Business Partner? Reporting to the Head of FP&A this is a pivotal role within Group Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced expanding business.
A key focus of this role will be to provide timely and accurate financial information that will be actively used in the Groups financial reports and Audit.
This is role will suit an individual who is naturally inquisitive and enjoys being involved in a wide range of projects while working to meet key deadlines and reporting milestones.
What to expect?
• Business partner several departments around the company assisting them with:
oForecast accuracy
oUnderstand the impact of their decisions
oMaintaining a positive two-way relationship with finance.
• Responsible for financial analysis for key departments:
oProviding regular financial analysis to the heads of the IS and P&C departments
oPreparing regular financial analysis for the Overhead and Finance departments
oPreparing forecasts for the Overhead and Finance departments
oPreparing monthly foreign exchange reviews
oAd hoc analysis for other departments as required
• Assisting with the production of the group financial packs for:
oBoard meetings
oIchor monthly management meetings
oInstem Management team meetings
• Assisting with audit requests; focused specifically on areas of responsibility and assisting in other areas where possible
• Assisting with the administration of the Groups forecasting system, Adaptive Insights (Workdays)
• KPI dashboard overseer, helping pull the data, coordinate other inputters and presents report monthly.
oAdherence to our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all work is handled securely, professionally and diligently.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Actively studying an accountancy qualification
• 3+ years' experience in a financial analysis role
• Proficient with Microsoft excel
• Experience with Power BI advantageous
• Good technical accounting background
• Experienced in producing statutory accounts, preferably under IFRS standards
• Sector experience desirable but not essential (but must be willing to learn and adapt quickly)
