The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Asset & Procurement Officer to manage the acquisition, tracking, and compliance of IT assets and procurement activities. This role ensures efficient IT asset lifecycle management and supports procurement processes for hardware and software.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a key member of the IT Services team, you will:
Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal.
Facilitate compliant procurement of IT hardware and software, including supplier liaison and license management.
Process purchase requisitions, invoices, and delivery notes while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Manage IT goods-in, ensuring timely distribution and availability.
Maintain and audit IT asset and procurement records for compliance.
Triage and fulfill IT service requests, updating records as needed. IT documentation and knowledge base.
Mentor and coach junior apprentices within the IT Services team.
